CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Board of Career and Technical Education (SBCTE) and Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) will meet virtually at 9 a.m. on September 16, 2021. The board will welcome Dr. Scott Thomas, who will be sworn in as an ex-officio member representing the University of Wyoming.
The board will initially convene as the SBCTE to hear an update on the implementation of Perkins V in Wyoming.
After reconvening, the SBE will consider action on proposed revisions to Chapter 22 School Day rules and a recommendation to collect public and educator input on the proposed revisions to the Fine and Performing Arts Standards. The board will hear a presentation on the Wyoming Accountability System and a Standards update covering Foreign Language, English Language Arts, Fine and Performing Arts, P.E. & Health, Science, and Math.
All SBE meetings are open to the public. Register in advance for the September 16 meeting here. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
