State Board of Education to Hold One-Day Meeting in Sheridan

CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) will hold a one-day meeting in Sheridan on June 22, 2017. The meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 22 at the Sheridan County School District #2 Building, located at 201 North Connor Street, Sheridan.

The SBE will hear reports from SBE coordinator Dr. Thomas Sachse, Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) liaison Lisa Weigel, and WDE staff about accreditation, an update on Every Student Succeeds Act, the Professional Judgement Panel and Advisory Committee, JEIC reports, alternative schedule and school performance ratings, and an update on Chapters 6, 10, and 31.
