Education Initiatives - Networking for Quality Education in Wyoming

The SBE vision is to work with stakeholders to support current initiatives that help create an education system in which all Wyoming students graduate prepared and empowered for their futures. Whether student, classroom, or system level initiatives, the SBE continues to network and celebrate the efforts of those working to provide quality experiences and programs for Wyoming’s children and youth.

Wyoming Future of Learning Partnership

RIDE (Reimagining and Innovating the Delivery of Education) Pilot - Governor Mark Gordon

The first Wyoming Future of Learning Partnership student centered learning initiative was launched by Governor Mark Gordon. The initiative is a RIDE pilot promoting competency-based education in Wyoming school districts. The RIDE pilot launched in 2023/24 with nine school districts participating. The following year, the number of participating districts grew to 20 of Wyoming's 48 districts. The enrollment of the RIDE pilot districts touch approximately 50% of Wyoming students.
