The board partners with the Wyoming Department of Education to approve rigorous assessments of student knowledge that measure proficiency, student progress and promote college and career readiness. Assessments are one of several school, administrator and teacher accountability measures, and include statewide tests (WY-TOPP, WY-ALT and ACT) and locally developed and administered assessments of the Wyoming State Content and Performance Standards.
These state and localized exams help schools to better individualize student learning and enhance curricula and instruction methods.
