CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Board of Career and Technical Education (SBCTE) will meet virtually to take action on revisions to the Perkins V Plan performance indicators. The revisions will adjust performance indicators based on the most current 2022-23 data.

Upon adjournment of the SBCTE, the board will reconvene as the Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) to discuss the WY-TOPP state assessment. The Wyoming Department of Education will present recommendations for revisions to the Math and Science state assessment blueprints, reflecting recent updates to the standards. The board will discuss the impact the revision of blueprints might have on the 2026 administration of the state assessment in grades 3-10. Further discussion on the state assessment will include a recommendation to eliminate the grade 3 Writing portion of the current WY-TOPP assessment.

The public may join virtually and register in advance to attend here. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email with instructions to join the meeting.
