CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) will consider opening Chapter 10 Rules on Content and Performance Standards for promulgation at a special meeting, starting at 2 p.m. on December 14, 2021. The special meeting will be held virtually and is open to the public.
The board has received a recommendation to update math performance standards, science performance standards, physical education content and performance standards, and health content and performance standards. These standards have been reviewed by the committees and opened for public and educator input resulting in recommended revisions. If opened for promulgation, the revised standards will have a 45-day comment period before being considered for final adoption.
