CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) will meet in-person to hold its annual retreat and meeting from 12:45-3:45 p.m. on August 5 and from 8 a.m.-12:45 p.m. on August 6.

The board will discuss proposed revisions to Chapter 22 School Day and continue discussions on the development of a Profile of a Graduate and graduation standards. The board will also discuss future projects and the SBE draft budget.

The board will consider action on the proposed WY-ALT Science assessment blueprint and approval of travel stipends for the August 16 meeting of the Profile of a Graduate Design Team.

The SBE will meet at the Sweetwater County School District #1 Central Office at 3550 Foothill Blvd. in Rock Springs. Due to limited seating, the meeting will also be available virtually. Register in advance for the August 5 meeting here and the August 6 meeting here. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
