CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) will be hearing presentations from high school staff and students about innovative programs in place to help students be prepared for life after high school at its regularly scheduled meeting on April 22-23, 2021; the presentations are part of the continuing work of the state board in developing a Wyoming Profile of a Graduate.
The SBE will meet in-person from 1-4 p.m. on April 22 and again from 8:30 a.m.-noon on April 23 in Public Meeting Room #5 in the Capitol Extension of the Wyoming State Capitol. Both sessions also will be broadcast live via the Zoom online platform. Those attending the meeting in person are asked to maintain social distancing; masks are recommended, but not required.
The board will consider taking action on applications from 17 school districts for alternative schedules. An update on Wyoming Content and Performance Standards will also be presented by Wyoming Department of Education staff.
