CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) will meet at 9 a.m. on February 25, 2021 and will hear from a panel of current and recent high school students as the board continues its Profile of a Graduate project. The SBE will meet virtually via the Zoom online platform.

The Profile of a Graduate project will define the knowledge, skills, and attributes students should have when they graduate from high school. The design team is made up from a broad stakeholder base, including education, business/industry, government, elected officials, and parents. The panelists will highlight their preparation for the opportunities and challenges each has faced after high school.

The board also will take action to approve the WIDA English Language Development Standards and hear public input on the Math Performance Standards.

Register in advance for the meeting here. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the session.

Materials for board meetings are now available on BoardDocs. Previous meetings’ minutes and materials may be viewed through the board’s website. The SBE also can be followed on Facebook and Twitter.
