CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) will hold a full-day meeting in Cheyenne beginning at 8 a.m. on June 20, 2019 in the Laramie County School District #1 Board Room, 2810 House Avenue.
The SBE will begin their meeting with BoardDoc’s training and will then receive an update from the Wyoming Department of Education on the Charter School end-of-year reports, and Leader and Teacher Evaluation Systems. The SBE will consider action on Emergency and Regular Rules for Chapter 3 Rules of Practice and Procedure, which define the process districts can use to contest their annual school performance ratings as well as the procedure for contesting current rules. The SBE will also consider action on Accreditation of school districts for the 2019-20 school year.
The SBE will additionally hear a report from board coordinator Dr. Thomas Sachse on the Joint Education Interim Committee meeting, which was held in Casper on June 5-6.
