CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Board of Education will be meeting the evening of Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Saratoga Inn located at 601 Pic Pike Rd and Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Carbon County School District #2 Boardroom, located at 315 1st St.

The Board will hold a session facilitated by the National Association of State Board of Education on June 4th, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at a conference room in the Saratoga Inn.

During the session, Francis Eberle, of the National Association of State Boards of Education, will share information about the standards setting process in other states as well as talk with the Board about ways to engage stakeholders and communicate results.

The Board will hold its work and business session on June 5, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Carbon CSD #2 Boardroom.

The Board will hear reports from the SBE Coordinator and the WDE Liaison, and an update from WEA on recalibration. Additionally, action will be taken on accreditation of school districts, alternative schedules for school district, draft rules and regulations, and the SBE meeting schedule.
