SBE TO HOLD SPECIAL MEETING ON DISTRICT REORGANIZATION
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) will hold a special meeting virtually at 4:30 p.m. on May 7 to discuss and take action on the reorganization of the Johnson County School District #1 and Niobrara County School District #1 Boards of Trustees.
During the April 30 SBE meeting, representatives from both districts presented justifications to the SBE in support of the District Boundary Boards’ proposals to reduce their respective local Board of Trustees from nine members to seven. The SBE will receive public comment on the matter during the meeting.
All SBE meetings are open to the public. Attendees may join the meeting virtually by registering in advance. After registration, participants will receive an email with instructions on how to join the meeting.
